    CardCounter E36 328i Turbo 900whp+

Hahaha now that this sub-forum is here away I go! CardCounter's complete interior, full-weight 328i is actually another ICS build with more fab work from Jon at 666. It is stupid fast and the definition of a sleeper. It runs 9s.

Haha that's one of my favorite things about it - oh yeah sure, it's just a 325 sedan...once you hear that exhaust...PSYCH!

This one runs 9's at 152... so is this the fastest and not Maximum PSI's car?

Edit: Just realized Max PSI went 154.

Mike at MaxPSI has a quicker ET and faster trap speed, but he's also running an S52 while I believe CardCounter uses an M52 (built to the 9s, literally, but still cool that it's not an M).

I am more curious as to what variety of under-body bracing or laddering he uses to keep the chassis from flexing under all that load!

Ulysses just installed a new tranny (non-bmw) for the upcoming season. We will probably see him take the new record in e.t. or trap or maybe even both.

I do believe this will be his last and final season with the car. Someone told me he has another project.

Mike R is not running a s52. The s52 was the initial motor he ran to 600+ whp on stock compression, then lowered the compression via a HG and made whatever it made, I dont remember. High 600's I think, before he bent a rod. He is now running a frankenstein 3.0

Regardless, m52's are better for boost than s52's.

What is the Frankenstein 3.0? Does everything bolt-up without machining?

In 2007 CC let slip what other car he has on the go....not much since.

I believe the "Fire Ant" as he likes to call it is getting a 3 speed auto or a PG.

It would be very cool if he kept a third pedal, but I guess at the power levels he is making (and more importantly for the car's purpose), the auto is the way to go.

Agreed. It's an insane street car at the end of the day, not a dedicated race car.

Is it possible to get a PowerGlide/TH/etc that includes a highway-friendly final gear? I know that's also relative to the rear diff, but I can't imagine a performance auto does too well on the highway?

I think he switched over to the TKO as well. I trained him well in the art of drag racing, but I take no credit for the runs. Click here to enlarge
