    Video E46 M3 AA SC VS Solstice GXP

    This is the same motor that is in my SS. I honestly thing weight could be the issue and the drag coefficient for the m3. Even that though, the solstice does trap about 112-117 with that set up. I've seen SC e46 m3s do about the same so idk. I was a little surprised.

    Any conclusions from anyone? Is this normal power for AA SC e46 m3?

    a buddy of mine has a AA SC'd E46 SMG....he would pull a few cars on my buddy's .1 997s w/mods (997s was equal w/my e92 m3 dct).

    Damn so then it should be pretty fast... you mean your m3 without the Gintani kit right?

    I think its the weight factor, 900 lbs is a big difference. wish i could get more info on this lol

    It depends on the stage kit, supercharger size/model and of course its a convertible so that has ALOT to do with it. If thats a stage 1, I would say thats to be expected, if he puts race gas in it though, different story.

    Yes, I was looking into the stages to make sure how much power it has with they weight it seems about right. I'm sure if both put race gas in it would would be a different story lol.

    I think the fact that he also had his top down must have something to do with it...I've noticed that top end acceleration is obviously much slower due to coeff drag.

    On another note, what engine does the GXP have to be so fast?

    I believe that the top down really made a difference too. The GXP got my SS engine in it. LNF 2.0T
