304ss TIG welded tubular turbo manifolds designed for M50, M52, S50, and S52 motors in the E36
chassis. High flow top mount design with a 6 into 1 merge collector to support even the highest
horsepower levels. Available in T3 or T4 flanges. Also available, are E36 tubular manifolds ported to
fit the larger exhaust ports found in euro heads like the S50B30. Extra material is added to the ports
and then blended for a smooth flowing transition into the manifold runners. The top mount manifold will
fit most standard T3 and T4 turbos, GT30R and GT35R turbos. A GT40R gets pretty tight for hood
clearance. This manifold will fit with the a/c compressor in the stock location but would require custom
made lines if air conditioning is to be retained.

    $1400

Savagery! Jon and 666 are right up the way from me a bit in CT - he really is a master of his craft. Lest there be any questions of his abilities, he did most of the fab work on ICS' Killer Bee.

Thank Click here to enlarge I agree, it is very nice! I was hesitant but in retrospect, I should not have been.

I'm thinking about throwing in the S14 and S38 into this section, what do you think? Possibly add a + older motors tag?

Do the top mounts have the creep issues the bottom mounts do?

Although, Jon has said he revamped the bottom mount's wastegate location and they are no longer having creep issues.

Chances are good that if Jon addressed any underlying boost creep issues with the bottom-mount manifolds, he would have sorted out any missteps with the top-mounts (if any). Having spoken with Jon regarding a number of custom fab projects, I am pretty certain he is the kind of guy that proactively improves his product.

(sorry for the long reply... busy with finals)

Personally, the s38 is work of art, so I say do it. The s14 is meh.

Just wondering why you consider the S14 "Meh"

Not sure I have heard aout what you are talking about. I was thinking about getting 1 of his top mounts, but I would have to rename it 777manifold ;-).

Which bottom mounts have creep issues? I understand that the SPA manifold has minimal creep, if the WG used is of quality & WG pipe is engineered properly.

666 bottom mounts used to have issues with gt35r's.

Jon Volk said he changed the wastegate port so they don't anymore, but I havent seen a dyno to confirm.

Also... if you look at THIS pic,
you'll see that this user (the one I recall having creep issues)
    was running a 38mm wastegate.

Possibly not large enough to dump those gases?

That setup shouldn't necessitate a 44mm though. He got creep at every boost level, and he wasn't the only one. It was a design issue.

    Actually,
didnt he have creep issues below 15psi??

    Dr Volk has recently noted that only a few users had creep issues;
hence, It may not have beeen a design flaw.

I believe it can be difficult to build a HIGH FLOW manifold
and have the WG flange not impeding the FLOW.

PM Chris and ask him, he had issues no matter the boost iirc.

Jon said he was running into problems with 61mm turbos.

He then redesigned the wastegate flange.

    Is more evidence necessary?

I am not saying there is anything wrong with 666 manifolds, just discussing prior issues others might not be aware of.

    I have no agenda.
