    I miss my car.... :(

My new motor is stuck in customs right now, it's been several months and I really miss her. I watched this video today against my buddies full bolt on GTR, with stock turbo's, and am I little sad she won't be as fast now. Click here to enlarge The GTR just upgraded to 800whp! Not sure what my next move will be, but right now I just want the car up and running more than anything.

Yes it sucks waiting for a motor build, but if you are looking for more power to beat a 800whp GTR you will need 1 of the few cars I'm going to mentioned. A hpf m3 stage 4, and modded 997tt, and a e36 m3 built motor'd turbo setup. All of the mentioned should be able to give it to a 800whp given a run for its money. Money on the other to make such power is harder to come by then the power. Lets to see some figures on what it would cost to make 800whp on all car's mentioned.

He is just going to boost he stock motor and keep it conservative.

Not trying to take down 800 whp GTR's, he is saying the GTR is much stronger now.

Please look at the mph, and take into account that the e36 has a full interior roll cage, and a parachute. Now if a race was to take place from a highway roll the rape would be so epic. Then take into account that this run is from a few years ago. I'm sure the e36 is now faster.

The E36 vs. GTR nonsense is not needed here. This thread is more about the sacrifice of modding and the downtime it can lead to... a necessary but unfortunate pain.

Just got word that it cleared. My shipment was in a large container with several other packages. Customs decided to do an X-ray and intensive search on the container. The other bummer besides the wait is that everyone who has a shipment in this container has to pay for these arbitrary searches from customs, I understand the security aspect, but it sounds a bit like a money making machine, haha. All good, it should be at Gintani by Tuesday or Wens at the latest. Click here to enlarge

Is the cost split evenly or by how much weight you have in the container?

Honestly, they search something like 10% if that of the incoming containers, so it's kind of like a game.

Looking forward to seeing your car back up and running. May be that both of ours get completed around the same time.

I believe that is how they divide the cost, by size. Thanks man.
