    Just to add to this, I still cannot understand why everyone thinks a Dyno Dynamics reads so low.

    Just tested a supercharged car today with a correction factor of 0.97 (removing 3%) and achieved well over 530 wheel horsepower (corrected).

    Anyway, great numbers on this particular ESS equiped car. Nice smooth graph.

    Well from what I have seen when the correction factors aren't really messed with it reads almost 20% lower than a dynojet.

    I have been using both dyno's recently and if both dyno's are left to do their corrections as the manufacturers intended then the gap is alot smaller than 20%.

    I have also been using Maha dyno's and it all seems very consistent.

    One thing that is always excatly the same and this is infact what's important - the graph shapes are always the same if the operator uses the machines correctly.

    How you doing with getting people to get their correction factors and use shoot out mode? I hope you succeed because:
    1) you'll be saving people money
    2) We shall see dyno threads which actually make sense

    ^ I don't dyno as much as you do obviously so I will take your word for it. But there is a disparity between the two and that is where the notion comes from.

    I definitely want people to use shootout mode but I doubt I can influence something like that across the industry. Would be great... but virtually impossible.

    Just put a big damn sticky (no pun intended) up saying in BOLD:

    ' No correction factors = useless dyno session'
    ' Dyno Dynamics w/o Shoot out mode = useless dyno session'

    This forum is one hell of a news bulletin and is getting larger by the day. Everyone knows this forum.

    Don't even try and say you don't have the power to make a huge difference.

    I am one guy with no time on my hands and I am making a difference. I have seen how often you spend time on here and other forums and you have the time to do this sort of work. You have the time to report on the latest stories so I confident in saying you have no excuse for not making a difference here.

    Do a write up. It is time people knew the facts.
