Need advice for DPs installation shop in SD

Does anyone know a good shop in San Diego or person to have my AA downpipes installed? I just received them today. I called my local BMW installation/mod/repair shop, the guys there are legit and know what they are doing, but they charge $300.00Click here to enlarge for the installation of downpipes. IMO this is a little too much, or is this what most people pay for when they have DPs installed? I can't do it myself since I don't have a garage or the tools....

Definitely won't hurt to compare, $250 seems to be the going rate so they were a little high but not out of control.

I ended up doing my own because I was getting quoted $500-$600+. I went down the road of going having a dp manufactuerer do the install of their pipes. They started at $300 and later decided they couldn't do it for that price. Goodluck on your hunt

There's a dude in the LA area who does dp installation for $100. He installed my AA dp's, and he did a really great job. It took him 3hrs (including oil change).

I would def go to LT but they are too far for me. An hour and a half drive at least....oh well. I'll just get mine done at my local BMW performance shop. Euro Auto Spot in SD. I know I can trust those guys, even though it might be a little expensive.

Come help me and I will lol. Anyways, I just called another very reputable shop in San Diego and they are charging me $285.00, 3 hrs of labor at $95.00. That must be the price most respectable venues share

If you know they do quality work, not worth any headaches for a few bucks. If $285 is the best you can find at the closest quality shop, go with it.

It's always good to know how to do these types of installs yourself, especially if your still under warranty. Theses mod installs/uninstalls can get expensive when having to go back to stock for dealer visits. But if money ain't a thing, make it rain! Click here to enlarge

Hey, thanks for the offer Dave Click here to enlarge that's nice of you, but I already had them installed. Perhaps for future mods I might ask for your help, if you don't mind.

No man, I haven't gone to any. TBH I didn't even know there was meetings down at Kearny Mesa lol. I heard of meetings going down in LA and SD from the MFest forums but I never visit that site really, so I'm out of the loop. Are there any coming up?
