    Vendors deleting threads elsewhere..

Just found out today that one of the new vendors had his original thread deleted and a new one created because one of my customers absolutely destroyed him. Not to mention a friend of a friend that used to work there left because 'he couldn't take any more of the shady stuff going on'.

I've been trying to probe him for more details, once I get some they will be posted. i know the other forum is pretty well known for doing such things when they get way out of hand, but this was a result of a customers bad experience getting the car painted 2 times, and the end result was still a poor job.

Sounds like an M5Board class act if you ask me...

Well, easiest thing to do would be to have your customer post here.

Who was the vendor and what was the issue?

Impressive...Alan (the guy who was doing the beta testing for Cobb) had a friend that went there and had his Audi painted matte grey. Within 2 weeks the paint was chipping and flaking. Had it done over and the same result happened. He paid a good sum of money, and to save face they deleted then thread when he said something.

Not to mention he's been charging crack prices for installs. $300 bucks to install a clutch in a 335? Are you kidding me??

Let's see how long this one lasts.

We need more info than this.

Ok, so paint job was messed up and M5board deleted to protect the vendor? Who did the paint?

    Typical KGB style censorship!
Some people live long, meaningful lives.

Other people eat shit and die.

no you have it mixed up...E90 deleted it, not M5Board. I was merely comparing the two.

I would have to get my friend on here to post it up, as all the info was deleted.

Matt you're at it again with the N54 clutch...if anyone pays more than $350 for an N54 clutch job to a shop that HAS DONE this job before are being ripped off...if your shop rate is more than $100/hr than sure...3.5 hours for an n54 clutch job is just enough

What's your pricing like for say 1) LSD swap, 2) SSK...on n54 of course...just wondering...
