Gotcha.... i was just stating the the cars ive personally seen and know exactly what was done to them didnt go that fast...

On the 60-130 time, doesnt surprise me too much, my car trapped 137 and my 60-130 is only 6.86, but traction played a huge part in mine and i only did 1 run... from what i have been told there is a whole learning curve to the 60-130... like where you start out (mph wise) traction obviously, how fast you shift ETC....

When i compare how fast my car is to others i look at the trap speed and if they have a 60-130 i look at the 90-130 time... normally from 90-130 you dont have traction issues and driver error is taken out, just shows which car is faster at that time...this is when i cant actually race the said car and its all E-Comparing Click here to enlarge

Damn, that Z06 was impressive. The ZR-1 got the jump and it still was pulling up, strong car.

Cobras need a ton of power to overcome their weight. 700+ whp isn't good enough to take down a 580 whp Z06... damn.

Aerodynamics also hurts the cobra. It's a brick and the Z06 is shaped like an arrow.

I hope the next z06 comes with a Cadillac interior. The Interior is so $#@!ing ugly its a deal breaker for me. If a least they changed that hideous steering wheel...

All good! Although I place a lot of stock in 60-130's, conditions should always be taken into account, just like traps, but there is no doubt they sometimes confuse me a little when comparing cars, totally agree there is nothing like doing comparo's to see who's actually faster.

Heads/cam z06 is deadly --> I definetly agree with you, those 60-130 times for the worked Z look very slow compared to the traps and what they should be clocking in at..
...how the hell is a heads/cam z06 running a slower 60-130 than a measly vt2-625 on a 4.0 V8 putting down WAY less hp (im just compaing it to my car, not sure what others are putting down....i got 601whp in 95 degree weather)...conditions play a BIG role.

Figured you would have more respect after being spanked by a GT500:

HP per liter doesn't win races and more displacement is a beautiful thing.

Actually the respect for my car grew more being it held it's own against a 700+ whp car that traps 136.
You see I'll post video's of my car win or lose cause I have nothing to hide and it's races like the one you posted that makes you go take your car to the next step .Click here to enlarge

So what is the next step? No built motor stage from ESS... so...?

The main point is, you said you aren't impressed with an American cars. I found that one very impressive, and you definitely should have. We have different definitions of held your own.. staying in the same zipcode doesn't count.

I simply don't like American muscle cars " period" ..
It is impressive that a z06 or zr1 for that matter can hang with a super car but at the end of the day I wouldn't pay 90 grand for a vette . I'd rather have a Deciently powered German car that is well built looks good drives good and has quality in it !
So why should it have impressed me ?

At one point I was considering a motor build on the M but after long thoughts I realized I was happy with the car at its current power level and didn't want to mess around with a perfecty fine motor .
I'm looking at awd 997.2 , with minor mod's you have a strong powerfull reliable ride ...

Held it's own is I didn't expect to beat the sc'rd stang but at the same time it didn't destroy me considering it had 200whp and 250+wtq more than me .....
I'll post every race of my car win or lose its all in good fun and comparisons ....
If I were out there to be the fastest It wouldn't be in the M .....
997.2 PDK with turbo upgrades ..... Click here to enlarge

This is a great vid...I really like how they analyze the run. It would be great if they did this as a regular part of their comparo reviews.
