    $#@! Dish Network

So I ordered toy story 3 on dish on demand maybe 2 weeks ago. First of all, Toy Story is awesome so if you were even thinking of going down that route smack yourself against a wall or get a heart. Secondly, I recorded this event to my DVR.

Now, I paid for this, something like 8 bucks or whatever ridiculous bull$#@! they charge. I recorded it to my DVR because I did not finish watching it. Hence the point of a DVR, watch it later.

Dish Network now locks this my recording from me attempting to force me to order a movie I already paid for yet did not finish and recorded again. WTF? Seriously, WHAT THE $#@!? $#@! you up your ass Dish Network.

Now DVR's are supposed to be advanced the future blah blah blah. If this was a VHS, no problem. Who the hell is going to stop it? Who is going to lock it? But you know what happens? We have companies forcing their bull$#@! down our throats and I am locked in to their DVR/Receiver combo. Great, they can control what I can access from my recordings. Glad they haven't figured out a way to do that with my DVD's yet (oh, they have tried).

So hi-tech my ass, if I had a VCR I would be watching Toy Story 3 right now and find out what happens with that purple bear $#@!. Instead, I have to $#@! about it on the internet.

I understand that, so why doesn't it have some extended expiration period if you record it?

Well, because I prefer internet through DSL because the response time is better.

Not to mention Dish offers great HD channel support for a great price. I think cable sucks donkey balls.

    RedBox is great.

I'm not interested in copying the movie or getting it for free. I recorded it to watch the on demand (on demand, really?) content later. Your solution definitely makes sense though.
