At first I was going to saw conspiracy theory but good eye actually. It does appear to be a grey E92, I have no explanation.

Yep, maybe we can see xi for xi or rwd vs. rwd at some point.

It's an okay comparison...I mean what you see is what you get. Honestly, if you would have swapped the tunes in both cars, the result would have been very similar if not an even bigger winning margin for the 335i. Both guys are my friends, and I can tell you the 335xi is just not as fast. Chalk it up to weight, parasitic loss, whatever...it's definitely not apples to apples. My car has a very mild, tune only Dinan stage 1. The xi in this video has put down better numbers than me on the same dyno - first with his JB3/DCI and now with the COBB/DCI, but he can't beat me out on the road. It is a closer race with the COBB though.

The 335i JB3 driver in the video upgraded to the JB4 and then recently to the COBB AP. I did manage to race him a couple times while he had the JB4. The result is what you'd expect...I can generally hang through 1st and 2nd, but then my 11.2 psi starts getting left behind in 3rd and 4th. I can't remember if I posted this video on this site, but here's me running the JB3 car from the OP video (after he upgraded to the JB4).

Absolutely correct, made sure to point this out. You know how people love to see race vids though...

No, mine is the Montego 335i with the Dinan stage 1. Sorry if my post was confusing. The black car in the OP video is the xi, the space gray (camera car) in the OP video was the JB3. The video I just posted (with the GoPro angle) was me vs. the space gray after he had upgraded to JB4. The space gray car and the xi from the original video now both have the COBB AP. I'm still rockin' the Dinan Click here to enlarge
