    Is that the stock M20 manifold? Don't you think it's gonna crack at that much boost you are running?

    no i dont think so.. the standard intake are solid.. im gonna build an cutom intake aswell but will run with this one for now Click here to enlarge

    So yesterdays summery.

    Went to Tobbe @
    WiTune
    to get some serious power out of the M20.

    We did around 10-15 pulls without no problem what so ever.
    Managed to get the low boost and low resistance tuning well..
    then we went for the higher boost.. startad at 15psi(1bar) and everything worked well.

    the we went for 24psi(1,6bar) we got around 540whp on first or second pull.. after that we went to 27psi(1,8bar) and after that we noticed that the oil was mixed with water.. looked more into it and the water reservoir was empty.. so that was it..

    im gonna tear apart the block at the end of this week and see the damage.. Im thinking cracked head or cracked engine block.
    the gasket isent an option, if so it should push out the water instead of consuming it and mixing it.

    If it would all work out.. we would easily do 900whp+ today.. everything in the engine worked so good, and every boost gain we did it responded well... so getting 900whp out of m20 is still on !! >

    im back soon again with some new parts .. and the dyno will be in august again..

    So you think at 27 psi you either cracked the head or the block? So just too much boost?

    No its not to much boost... we did 43psi last year and that did work well.. even with the standard gasket.

    The difference between the head last year and the one we got this year.. is that the new one is ported to the max.. so there isn't much material left between the intake ports and the water Chanel.

    so i am thinking that it cracked just due to material stress.

    we didn't got to runt the ignition any aggressive so the gasket should be good. (and if the gasket would be blown instead of consuming water it should push it out through the water reservoir.

    it would be nice to just replace that one.. but i would be fooling my self in believing that its the gasket.. and if so then i have bigger problems.. blowing the gasket at 540whp is wrong.. it did 730whp last year with the same standard gasket and same setup of locking the gasket at place.
