From reading on bimmerforums. If you search his user name there are bits a pieces through out his posts but its pretty scattered. Some of them don't make much sense though.

You would think there would be more details and he would be playing it up more.

From the looks of it he seems pretty humble. He makes great power and backs it up with some really nice quarter mile times. Just posts sporadically with not alot of hype....or info for that matter.

^^^ thats how it should be!

as far as dynojet inaccuracies, is the '85 VMax mathematics still a factor?

Dynojet's final number-fudge was arbitrarily based on a number from the most powerful road-going motorcycle of the time, the '85 1,200cc Yamaha VMax. The VMax had 145 advertised factory horsepower, which was far above the raw 90hp number spit out by the formula. Meanwhile, existing aftermarket torque-cell engine dynamometers delivered numbers that clustered around 120. Always a pragmatist, Dobeck finally ordered his Chief Engineer to doctor the math so that the Dynojet 100 measured 120 hp for a stock VMax. And that was that: For once and forever, the power of everything else in the world would be relative to the '85 Yamaha VMax and a fudged imaginary number. Dobeck's engineering staff was dismayed by the decision, but the Dynojet 100 exclusively measured surplus power available to accelerate the vehicle's mass-no more, no less-and that was true even if the modification was a low-inertia flywheel or lightweight wheels. As long as the inertial dyno's numbers were repeatable, the critical question (did a particular modification make the engine accelerate faster or slower?) would be answered correctly.
    from hotrod.com

don't know if this is still a factor. it happened a long time ago but the way this was written it looks like that arbitrary 'fudge' is set in stone.

    Yup,
David likes to go fast and he obviously knows that the E36 can go faster
or he wouldn't be progressing with this build.

    Exciting Santa Clara stuff there.

FYI, THis car just made 953hp 821 torque with Bav Sol cams.

This was conservative tuning at 39psi (peak, actually holding less boost from having some WG or BC problem). Also, he made 54 more whp at less boost (w/ the boost issue) and 6 * LESS TIMING!!!!

Goes to show that Bav Sol knows what they are doing with their hardware more than some Attorney wants to give credit. I think someone's going to be in hot libel water.

It's ok, sometimes it's necessary and bimmerforums doesn't totally censor us so no big deal, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Yes, s52, 87mm with oring and stock elring HG. Funny how when people who know how to make a head seal coming into play people are going back to the 87mm block that was supposed to be a no-no for boost.

Dvcee the Wizard of PA has known of these secret's for year's. I have been thinking about removing my mls to swap in an erling with an o-ringed block, but I'm not looking to push much boost yet.
