So cops showed up at the right time, perfect. He get arrested? I assume he did as by the sound of it he was pretty drunk. Guy is $#@!ed...

I'm glad you are ok, I'm sorry about the car but it really isn't that big of a deal. You will get money from insurance and will go get another car.

Pics show how solid the VW is. Looks like a head on collision though? What happened exactly?

I've been saying that for years. My accident was on Memorial Day but it was around 3pm and I just went out for a work break. You can't be too safe on the road especially on holidays.

Fastgti, I'm glad you're ok but you won't get enough from insurance to replace your car. I would start complaining about my back and neck if I were in your situation. That was a nice GTI.

yea the came right on time, like they saw it happen! he prob got arrested but i'm not too sure. yea hopefully i get what car i want tho haha.
the vw had no phase when it got hit, i really felt nothing. except today my hand was on the gear lever right when he hit so the airbag hit my shoulder/neck/collar really hard and now i'm feeling it today.

but yea this is the story. i'm on ventura making a left on wilbur at the red arrow. (the arrow turns green after crossing traffic light turns red) i was timing(watching) the light. so for traffic that is parallel to me there is a red light. he ran the red light and went straight into me on my right side. so he was on the other side of the yellow lines and in the other lane. "

it was literally one second before the light was gonna turn green for me to go thats why i put it in gear and look up. BOOM!

thank god there was a car behind me and he didnt get hit. but he was a witness and i got the info. i'll try to draw it out when i got time lol. i'm bad a writing.

Report the pain and go from there seeing how it develops. You never know, just be on the safer side.

B5 S4 is nice, but your GTI was really nice as well and a lot newer.

yea, i will be going to the doctor tomorrow. who do i report the injuries to. the insurance right? i have to make the claim today so i will be letting them know what happend.

and yea my gti was a lot newer. I just want to keep it german and upgrade friendly so i can add boost to an engine if its NA like the e36. for now im really aiming toward the s4 cause of the AWD and idk i just really like the car.

any other options i might like in that area. RWD or AWD , needs to be manual tranny. german, and boost friendly lol. i really dont wanna go jap.

    I suggest a 335i.
I know, I know, "Everyone and there grandmother has one," but there is a reason for that!
I love my car and it makes endless power. Used ones go for pretty cheap and you can get one and mod it with the money from insurance.

Good luck man and I hope these pains are only temporary.
