Gintani Stage 2+ engine start up - shows fully enabled Check Engine Light

There has been some baseless criticism as of late which was originated by PencilGeek unfortunately. Now, sometimes he means well but the issue he was pushing led to some fanboys who really did not understand what was going on (M33) trying to vilify OE Tuning. Niterider, who worked as tech at BMW, had an issue with a part. To get the car to run properly so he could make Mfest, he had his DSC and and ABS disabled.

As the video shows, the CEL is not disabled on Gintani cars. The misfire detection system is not disabled, where that nonsense came from I have no idea. I'm sure these guys will reach for something else soon but yet again, they come up short:

Additionally, when this video was showed M33 of course jumped in with bashing even though he couldn't really say much of anything as it proves he was wrong. The guy has some serious problems but others already see it, posted in response to M33:

Do you have a drug or alcohol problem? Because it sure would explain allot.

Huh? I am very critical of disabling the entire CEL system, but I wasn't aware that I started any of this. Ryboy shot the video of his own car and showed the disabled CEL. I don't even recall making a single comment on m3post in response to any video he posted, or the follow up video from a completely different car.

You propagated it. You did not make a single comment on M3post, you did it in a different fashion. Come on Robert, let's not play stupid. Regardless, glad this this issue is closed as it was a ridiculous witch hunt to begin with.

It's just a few people that have been like this from the beginning especially concerning Gintani vs. ESS.

The way I see it, let the cars do the talking. Everyone else, keep your hands off the keyboard unless you have some real information. Not just speculation. This stuff gets way too out of hand...

It's fine to be critical but it is ridiculous how some of this baseless bashing with no support goes on.

Me either, but why people try so hard to go after Gintani and OE is beyond me.

ESS and Gintani are both great options, period.
