    Re-manufactured ECU

Was wondering if anyone had experience/opinions on re-manufactured ECUs. I am getting the Stage 3 Dinan ECU tune and also wanted to get the MHP tune. I could then dyno the ECUs individually on the same day to compare. The re-manufactured is VIN specific and mileage and about half price of new one. The other option is to reflash the ECU after Dinan and send it to MHP. Appreciate any thoughts.

You could flash the same ecu, why get another?

It allows me the luxury of testing both tunes on the same day for the best comparison. I have been told a flash will run about $500 which is not much less than the re-manufactured ECU.

I hear ya, if you feel that is the way to go, props. You can still technically test both tunes on the same ecu on the same day but they way you want to go about it is the best way although more expensive.
