damn. Look like in first vid he locked up the brakes? then understeered off the road?

    do they have abs?

2nd vid was so bad thou. lame crash...

surprised the both understeered, figured people would be spinning them.

The first one he locked the brakes, no abs (you can see smoke from passenger front tire), the second one looks like the tires where still cold and he was going down hill.

There are very fun machines, I've had plenty of rides in a Ford Racing 2.4L I4 powered Caterham at autocross.

They do tend to snap over-steer, and with the short wheelbase and weight they usually spin quick and then stop.

There are a variety of configurations of this car, power-plant and suspension wise, and it's still up to the end user to make sure the camber/toe/caster/tire pressure is setup how they like the car to handle.

It got to be scary to crash in one of these...do they have any kind of regulation or crash testing?

They are actually pretty hardcore, not much resemblance to a gokart, not to mention they technically could not be classified as gokarts. I'd say its more like a Lotus exige, but less stable, and much more of a handful to handle!

Speaking of gokarts, look up shifter karts. Also, look for ones with the liter race bikes engines, INSANE!!!

This is what I would consider an over sized gokart!
