The Switzer car is a GT2 so it is manual.

I'm guessing the EVOMS car is AWD? That was a beatdown.

I wouldn't put much weight into video clips like this, especially this one. Obviously the Switzer camp is trying to dump on Evoms. But this is hardly a controlled environment. The red car looks like it was on race fuel and got the quick horn. Many times these high HP-set ups suffer some problem from the installer, boost leak, etc...

We really dont know all the variables one would like to for a quality judgment on performance between the two cars. Run what you have and see who take the victory....That Switzer dominated its competition in this vid.

    From the owner on 6speed:
    Dear all,
This is my first post, am the owner of the 997tt. I purchased it this September. An 750 package is installed on the vehicle. This was first time I raced my new car and I was shocked by the results. I took the car to a Porsche shop where they discovered a boost leak from the right intercooler, they will fix it and I will race the GT2 again this week end.

So let's assume that we wanted a kit for a 997TT... which would be a better choice or a goot route to go? (I can barely keep up with BMW forums to keep track of 6speed haha)

And do these kits work on the cabriolets and tiptronic transmissions, especially the high HP ones?

Yes, they work on cabs and tips.

Which would be a better choice? It depends really. On a 997tt starting with bolt on's is the best route to go and it seems like everyone offers those parts.
