Cool place, thanks Sticky for the shout out.... I picked this E92 M3 up in August of 2009 and had most of the mods done in 4 days because time is money.

20x9 and 20x10.5 HRE P40's Textured Black with 255x30 and 285x30 Nitto Invos
    Vorsteiner front lip
    Vorsteiner rear diffuser
    RD Sport springs
    Painted reflectors
    Black rear and side emblems
    Black Kidney Grilles
    Carbon Fiber Roundels
    6000k HID Angel Eyes
    RPI Full Race Exhaust
Super Cheap Carbon Fiber trunk spoiler
    Rogue Engineering Pulley
    MS filters
    RPI Scoops in booger red
    20%Tint

A few hundred miles later: Powerchip Tune for the RPI full race and about 2k miles after that- another Powerchip Dyno Tune!!! They tune all my cars fyi (sans GTR).

    Good to see you Vic!

Don't you feel there is overlap with the Is-f and M3 in the garage?

Oh, and you planning on anything else with the M3 or just keeping it the way it is and enjoying it? Makes sense to leave it as is considering you have the GT-R and 997TT to mod for speed... just was wondering if you thought any more about the discussion we had regarding the SC.

I dont ever drive the IS-F, well maybe once per month so I dont even really know how it feels but its not remotely close to the M in steering and chassis feel. Its also a kidney beater the way it bounces on the freeway with no adjustable suspension. If my memory serves me, the M3 in stock format is still faster than the IS-F based on my personal experiences. With the mods I have its not close.

You know I think about that damn SC every day bro. I know I have the Pcar and the GT-R but Im scared to mod the GT-R further because of the tranny. It has the GT600 kit with 800cc injectors and the Titek Ti exhaust. The Pcar definitely has room to grow with maybe GT35r's but I not sure if I want to put more into it; I have done everything but the turbos and intercoolers. Im still shocked that the GT-R with a 900 dollar chip, downpipe, and some other tweaks can run high 10's or low low 11's. My problem is that no matter how content I am, Im not so I will probably just keep modding the GT-R and keep the M3 maxed out with just bolt ons... I need to run drew- my car dyno'd 407hp with the Jeremy tune at Autowave. How is that to others?

Well, 407 @ Autowave will be mid 350's on a DD or high 380's on a dynojet... Autowave just reads high, as we covered Click here to enlarge (and I was correct, still received no apology from that guy calling me a liar).

I would love to run the 997TT or GTR some time, and you could see what a supercharged M3 is like yourself.

Im sure you would beat both cars- the 997TT is probably 600hp at the crank at best with a boatload of drivetrain and tranny loss (yes its a tip). The GT-R would be a better match but I dont see it winning either depending on your 60-130 times and grip. From a dig I would take both of my cars up to certain speed for sure since you probably have wheelspin from out of hell with that tq and hp. I definitely have less hp and less hp per lb as well so its really not going to be fun day if I intend to win but the beers would go down nicely.

Drew just text me for C&C Saturday but I cant make it- trying to make some adjustments at this time to see if I can.

Not really about winning or losing for me, you simply have the opportunity to see an SC for yourself to help you make a decision as you are an M3 owner. Would be more than happy to assist a fellow enthusiast (especially one who is local Click here to enlarge ).

Vids would really help me generate content as well, would really help me out.

Absolutely, from a dig it is tough to get consistency with the DCT M3 and certainly not possible on street tires.

Kind of funny when people used to call the M3 weak and now it can go up against modded 997tt's and GTR's and be the favorite.... Click here to enlarge

Well your car is not your normal M3 even compared to a bolt on one like mine or Drew's... The SC's definitely change the game. There are stupid GT-R's out there like the Switzer and SP Engineering ones that are circa 140 traps or at least thats what the crazy ruskies are claiming... that car sure does love the mods and you can get away with it for cheap!!!

Do you think you could drive your SC M3 as a daily?

BTW- took a test drive in the W212 E63- nice tranny that MCT is but its no DCT.

Oh ya, GT-R's are a more popular mod platform and the strongest one will dominate the strongest E92 right now... but I'll build the motor eventually Click here to enlarge

Vic, you can take my M3 for a spin and decide for yourself. Easily a daily, tuned on 91.

I thought you were having more work done? I don't have anything concrete setup yet, but I don't think any of the cars that may go next time around will give you a good run. We need to set you up with some of the big boys. Click here to enlarge But if your car is ready come out anyway!

Guys, it honestly does not matter if it is a good run or not.

Right now, we need content, that is the primary concern. I want people to see the difference between an SC and non SC for example, so we will run Drew.

PM me and let me know when, where, and who. I want BimmerBoost specific content Drew, that is why you are here and in charge! (and because you are level headed).

Oh, and yes, I am getting more work done, I always am. But I can sometimes squeeze things in between mods.

The IS-F is a bouncer and while the GT-R is solid and planted. The road feel is completely different- the GT-R just sticks but you will feel imperfections if the road is poor but its never bouncy at all. The IS-F bounces on even good roads while the GT-R is about as stiff as a dude on Cialis...
