    What's all this about then?

Any other fitness loons out there? Been training hard since I was 16 (now 34) - hit the gym hard for many years, now run a lot (and compete), do triathlons (well did one off road one last year and managed to win it) , surf a lot (see pic), MTB ride and all sorts. Bit of a wierdo.

Any other fitness obsessed E90ers out there?!

That picture reminds me of what people out here love to do, always see surfers in the water in Malibu. Not me though... after I saw Jaws the rest of you can surf.

Sticky - in what way? Politically, foreign affairs, economically or the people in general?

I think Obama punishing the banks is genius. Wish our PM had the balls to do the same. They have stuffed our economy and are now back on huge bonuses - getting away with murder (almost).

In any sense I suppose, whatever you would like to say.

I assure you, they have gotten away with murder here (the bankers).

The country is very different to ours and I have to admit that I'm not fan of the "Amercanisation" of our culture and our country's total subserviance to the US on military/foreign matters.

However I do like the economic model, I like some of the stuff you guys produce, the country looks amazing (never been though), you have some great surf (!) and your military kit kicks ass!

Not so keen on US cars - they really don't suit our small twisty roads. I love the sound they make (well the V8 ones anyway) but the chassis of almost all struggle to handle our corners properly.

I think that covers most things.....!

It's a total PITA to learn to be honest! I luckily grew up near a beach so went in after school. I then chose a Uni near the sea! But even with 20 years under my belt, it can still be very frustrating. But when it's good, it's REALLY good!

Now this needs a little trust/faith but this was 1999 at Byron Bay in Oz - the shadow in the "barrel" is me - best waves I have ever surfed!!

    Snow... what is that like?

JK, obviously I've snowboarded, but it is kind of weird having it never snow where I live. Hell, when it rains it is weird.

Can I presume from the lack of responses that you are mostly lardy BMW owners? ;-)
