    New BMW 60-130 Record: 5.07 by a twin turbo S54 E46 M3

We have a new overall 60-130 record for BMW. Mert in his twin turbo E46 M3 has bested the record that was also previously held by a turbocharged E46 M3 running an HPF 2.5 setup. There are a lot of questions about this car but the video speaks volumes. We are also a bit surprised at just how well the power was put down.

    Warm up runs:

We would also like to point that this is being posted due to it being BMW performance related and an important achievement. However, the owner is widely known as a thief and has ripped people off in the past. We don't condone his actions but feel sharing what is happening in the BMW performance world is important especially as platforms take steps forward. Running a record setting 60-130 does not erase someone's past dirtbag moves.

10's of thousands of dollars too, not chump change.

he will never admit it but he is spraying nitrous on these runs as well. its well documented that his car has it.

Thank you for this, I don't know how I forgot to add that in. He claimed it is hooked up but not being used. Ya right Click here to enlarge Use it then and show us the difference.

Im very impressed with the time! Im damn well surprised how he has traction, he is using Toyo R888's. I could not hook that well even with MT ET Street tires with apparently less power then him. I don't get it.

Im very happy he is posting video's and the car does sound healthy. I really hope for the sake of the community he is not lying about nitrous and other things. He has been known to lie before about his other cars and thats why people do not like him.

I doubt they hook as well as MT Drag radials, doesn't make sense.

He is not telling us his turbo size for some reason, its twin turbo though for sure. He did say he was running twin 66's awhile back which were spooling very late which is why he added nitrous. We dont know what he is running now, he has said he has multiple turbo's hes tried.

Tuning was apparently done by him, so was the hardware. Although Neel from Apex tuning says he did the tuning. Again we dont know...

Paddle shifters are supposedly for switching boost levels.

wow twin 66's! thats huge for a I6. i mean i guess its cool. you have a fast car in which nobody truely knows about it except you. and the paddle shifters to switch boost levels thats pretty sick.

    thanks for the reply Taz

Neel said that MERT did the tuning
or that Neel, himself, did the tuning.

I read Neel's ambiguous answer earlier.

i think he's afraid we will figure out that the videos are of his car but the v-box data is from some bike or something.

That's why you can't believe what that person says and who knows what the truth really is.

If he wants to get integrated back into the BMW community why doesn't he start by returning the money he stole?

I've been thinking about this and don't understand it either. He put the power down without any drama... maybe there is more going on with the boost control there than you realize? Something has to explain how he is hooking on R888's.

Regardless of what his setup is, it's an extremely impressive time and I believe it's from his car.

I think I will try some r888's now! lol

If he stole a bunch of peoples money in the BMW community, had been known to lie in the past and Bimmerboost is now supporting his claim by giving him a headline post.. seems kind of irresponsible to me. For all you guys know the car was built using all these peoples stolen money. I wouldn't give the guy the time of day, but that is just me.

A new record is a new record. Yep, done by a crook who we don't like but still have to report it. I also made sure to point out what he is exactly. I can't just pretend like it never happened.
