    I think it's for any E9X 3 series, including the M.

Was reading the description and it said something about being configured for juice box, procede, and standback. I'll e-mail and find out exactly.

Nope... you have to flash each time. What a $#@!, eh?

Something is in the works though... but doubt we will see it any time soon. For now, nope, can't switch maps.

Race gas will still help a boosted M3 tuned for pump... the ECU will advance timing automatically.

Definitely will not help as much as a dedicated tune though, bummer.

    Drew:

    They are both real nice.
For functionality, use the TMS gauge, and for aesthetics the former.

I still think that there is a tremendous market opportunity to do a "heads up" display (i.e. e60 M5 style)

That's what I'm thinking as well.

I thought it was only for the 335 bc it can switch maps on the piggybacks (JB)....
I guess the actual gauge housing/pod would work though just not use the switch map feature.

By, "ms pod"... are you talking about the gauge set that TMS offers (pictured above)?? Or another pod?

WILL it ever be possible to switch between flash tunes. I know one can switch between old school chip tunes (OBD1). So, I guess someone will figure it out someday.
Something is in the works though... but doubt we will see it any time soon. For now, nope, can't switch maps.
I think the only way they are able to switch is bc of the piggybacks. They just have to target different map each time. I do believe the GIAC flashes are unable to change as well.

EDIT: I see you answered part of my question.

Oh, I know it will advance timing as much as it can, but a dedicated race gas tune on your car would probably give you enormous gains!

You are absolutely correct... but would have to flash it manually each time since it is not a piggy back as mentioned earlier.

Got a response back for running the boost gauge on the M3:

    Joseph,
That is a seriously mean looking car you have there! Yes, our unit would work in your car. We will send you a longer vacum line to ensure you can select the correct t point. You would order a 335 of the same year range your car is.
I like the part about my mean car Click here to enlarge
