Listen to some of the exhausts posted in this thread. Eisenmann is a good option as well.

    You want quad?

Hartge also has a nice sounding quad setup. Comes with a diffuser though, the exhaust pipes are closer together like the 1M.
But if you are going for a quad exhaust you were already in the market for a new diffuser.

That is right, good to mention.

Didn't you show off a sweet quad exhaust setup?

I was looking into a rear diffuser at the time. Instead I will have the original diffuser wrapped with CF print in a few weeks.
I found a local shop that will do this for me. Anyways, back on topic:

This is the Hartge Exhaust with diffuser

You need to pick your exhaust first.

If you have a N54 engine (2007-10 model), you would have dual cats to dual muffler. If you have a N55 engine (2011 model), you would have a dual to single exit cat. I don't think I've ever seen a straight quad exhaust for 135/335i cars. I personally like the BMW performance or AE exhaust, they sound great and don't wake up the neighborhood, next would be the Vangaurd race exhaust which is louder than the first two.

To my knowledge there isn't room for a "straight"pipe under a 135i. The second set of quad exhausts are always fed from the main endmufler with some extra piping.
