Besides the wheels etc the RB units have the most crucial upgrade and that is a complete billet wastgate assembly. I think this is vital when you spending that kind of money and the stock items can go at any moment.

    I agree.

Besides, the RB's have more than enough to push to 550hp. its the fueling of our current N54 that is holding us back. Hoepfully this will be resolved shortly Click here to enlarge

If this is the case then my customer would be on the list for these once we find out. He sold his E30 M3 project (2Jz swap) and put the money on the side and funding this thing a bit. but he wont go near a set of turbos until someone breaks the magic 550hp on gas.

well, im sure unfor will. Im waiting for some technology/ R&D to trickle down.
I think i need to hit that dyno again, now that all my previous issues/maintainence is resolved, and with cooler weather, im sure im a bit closer than before, and once we have fuel to feed it, just need a few more psi Click here to enlarge

The PSI comes from air stacking up. With two turbos they each move half as much air but all see full boost. Click here to enlarge

^ can you clarify this pls? Are you differentiating between flow (cfm) and boost (psi)?

Both turbos produce 20 psig + IC losses, but move half the total cfm.

If both turbos were putting out 10 psig, the engine would see 10 psig not 20.

The advert reads upgraded compressor wheel which means it a new wheel and modified turbine which means its altered otherwise it would say upgraded compressor and turbine.

JB3- and i would, if he has the upgrade done, otherwise we know the outcome already Click here to enlarge

and even if he didnt, i still would. i just dont go looking for Ego runs. enthusiast runs like w/ Byzantine or even Msizzle i would go out of my way. but a fanboi, they can come to me. i just want to know how the other turbo upgrades compare. itrs been a while with a few people running them. it would be nice to have some info, whether they be close/equal/stronger than mine, i think everyone wants to know

Normally I dont get involved with these things as I dont want it to be taken the wrong way, but above I see some pics and also read this: "-Upgraded Stock Turbos which have a larger compressor wheel as well as a larger, modified turbine with a 5 percent clip."

I just believe the way this is worded is misleading. As some may know, a larger turbine can add quite the effort and cost into the development of this turbo upgrade. This wording eludes to the upgrade containing a larger turbine, which I really dont believe is the case- assuming the pics are of the units being spoken of.

    Thanks,
    Rob
