    The 458 doesn't have anywhere near the whp but look at how freaking strong it is.

    RWD + lighter weight + DCT = 1 mean $#@!, far more efficient use of the power and far more impressive.

    That car with a tune and exhaust will be plenty quick...

    Nice find that car is sooo sick!! Kudos to Ferrari for stepping their game up.And props to the owner for actually running his whip. Was this the same one Drew ran? Hopefully this one doesn't catch on fire.

    Seems like the car is over hyped. That stock turbo gtr with a cobb failport on it is nottrapping over 130 as some claim the italia does stock.

    130+ does seem like a stretch, but at MIR, SAC or Atco in negative DA, 130+ would be possible. On the Vbox that GTR would trap around 134MPH, FWIW a GTR with bolt on's trapped 129 at Vegas Speedway (altitude).

    Its all about the transmission. Listen to it shift, there is no disruption of power, it's instant. It makes use of the power and weight, which is why it is a ferrari and it costs 250k.

    N/A mods and the Z06 will rape a modded GTR. ZR1 is insane modded. I wouldnt mind getting a Z06 and twin turboing it.

    That GTR probably traps right around 132-134mph, so I'd say the 458 would trap at least 130

    It isn't quite that simple, to make 800 you need to sleeve it. The cylinder walls on the LS7 are thin, whole reason GM used the LS3 as the base for the LS9 in the ZR1.

    Unfortunately, but hopefully more manufacturers provide both the manual and the DCT so users can choose if they want more interaction or strictly performance. I think both have their place.
