I've never had the siren go off. They tested it and works. So who knows.

It isn't that loud really but you could still hear it over the stereo. Nice feature to have but I thought was more of a siren type thing.

Maybe. I have never put anything but 93 or higher since I bought the car. Only way I would have anythng lower is if the gas station lied. Lol. I try to go to same sunoco.

I don't know if I would say that as much as I would say you have far less leeway with 91. A bad batch of 91 will be a lot lower octane, or if it is mislabeled.

So to be on the safe side 1 should always run meth to be safe/avoid the weeping beep?

With 91? I would run meth as extra insurance, no reason not to.

Well. 80 kits. 3 blown engines. I would say the set is safe.
There's only been a couple people who heard the beep. Seems non hpf owners are making a big deal about this. It might be hard to believe but I don't drive around blasting my radio like some hood thug so I would have no problem hearing it.

the beep will not do much harm to a built motor, but a stocker? I wouldnt feel safe running that pump gas tune.

I think you guys just have something against hpf. There's more hpf kits on s54 then any other. 3 people have had major problems. It seem the fags on m3forum and select e36guys say more
$#@! about hpf cars. Then hpf owners.

They should think about adding a thicker head gasket to lower the compression of the stock motor. That would help out abit i would think, but hey thats just me.

Keeping the boost in check and running meth are definitely things to do on 91. It is high compression for a turbo, but the vast majority have run fine. Built motor with low compression is ideal.
