Stock Ferrari California vs. ESS VT625 M3

Ferrari gets a jump, no doubt about it. However, takes the ESS car forever to pull. Interesting race:

So, I would say that the ESS car traps around 119-120 at best. I would expect A LOT more from that car/kit. Bolt on e92 M's could have given that Ferrari a decent run.

For Ferrari standards, I believe the California is an epic failure in design, styling, and performance.

I remember reading articles prior to its release, where Ferrari officials were quoted saying they designed the car so it is easier for women to drive.

It is an alternative to an SL.

The men drive the Italia/599, the wife the California. Still a nice car I wouldn't kick out of the garage.

Expected, as the California doesn't have a monstrous engine, but more surprising was the lack of pull from the ESS car...could've sworn they had more power than that....117 trap on california o_O shocking!

Well I got banned on M5board for making simple statements that are true. This race was disappointing. For the ESS car to allegedly have 625hp and weigh 100lbs less then the California it was horrible not to mention the Ferrari even had an extra passenger. The California only has 453hp stock and weighs 3825 lbs stock and for some reason this ESS car had to play catch up? Something isnt right.

Hell Drew walked a real Ferrari that has 562hp weighs just over 3,000lbs and has been estimated to do a 10.9 1/4 mile it didn't even have a passenger in it! And yet he made quick work of it no problem I mean cmon. And to show how much of a hater ol Gustav is he even had the nerve to rate Drews thread as "bad" LOL well everyone else that commented like it.

what are some of the forums coming to these days banning someone for a simple comment that can be explained with a physics equation...love the intelligence on some of these other forums.

That's Pea's car right? Maybe he can chime in... I too thought he should of reeled in California quicker.

The race between the R8 V10 w/ tune vs Ferrari California was interesting to me since I have already raced a stock R8 V10.

No, it is not my car this one had 30-40whp less than mine, but i will meet him on a new event the 18th.
And i believe he have assembled a Meth kit on his car until then.
He had acro exhaust on his car with race cats, and i believe thats the reason for the powerloss

and what is your setup? how does yours differ from his?

LOSING HP with Akro? I doubt that Akro has the best exhaust for evry platform the do. Unless your reffering to having cats as opposed to having no cats.. Meth on ESS? i thought thats a HUGE NO-NO.. DO you have meth?

Mine is catless, and on this powerleavels there was a 30-40 hp differnce on the same dyno and same Ess kit (VT-625)
I canīt find any other reason for the difference in power.
    I donīt have meth.... yet.
