Well, that escalated quickly. I'm glad this forum adequately garbage collects.

Shiv comes out with Procede rev.1, $1495. Terry makes a "terry tune" for $10 worth of Radio Shack parts. Terry gets banned. Terry makes JB2, then a JB3, forcing Shiv to drop his price to $895 and comes out with a rev.2. Shiv (rightfully so) bashes the JB3 for riding the knock sensor, Terry says Shiv can't bias fuel pressure properly (rightfully so), Terry comes out with a CPS add-on, Shiv makes a rev 2b, rev 2.5 to address his fuel shortcomings.

Now, here's the fun part. Cobb comes into the game, Shiv screams hell on earth getting many members banned for questioning his marketing tactics regarding how his piggyback can fuel as well as a flash and is overall better than a flash. Enter 2013, he offers a ProcedeFlash because it was obviously true, pretty much abandons the Procede and his existing customers, basically rendering the unit a glorified boost controller. Enter July 15th, flash tuning is the best thing since sliced bread and it's cheaper than Cobb.

Now here's a laundry list of things Shiv "promised" and failed to deliver:

-misfire fix for Procede rev.2 V4 users
-flow sensor replacements for his PPS meth kit buyers
    -permanent VIN unlock firmware
    -flexfuel firmware update
-AFR imbalance fix, fuel trim flatline fix for Procede owners

And before you think this is unique to Shiv, we've all picked at both BMS and Cobb too. The difference between Shiv and others is... they acknowledge problems and work to fix them. Shiv will dodge, deflect and delete posts, and "fix" the issue in another product release. History repeats itself. Hope you learned something today.
This is a pretty interesting post. I will reserve judgments for personal experience, though I do remember the knock sensor point that was raised a couple of years ago. I will keep you updated on the Flex Fuel firmware update. I am currently waiting on that, so I will see how that goes.

What was Shiv's N55 fiasco? I missed that while I was away soaking my head for buying a GTI.

@themyst add in cyl 2-6 timing promise. Asswind has some sort of obsessive compulsive disorder. He should seriously consider asking shiv for a diagnosis.

Terry, you should have asked him which customer of yours he is. He basically is slandering you. He's not objecting to the forum, he came in here to put you down and the forum down at the same time.

Just got a call from a local customer this am, who has an N55 and the Vishnu N55 procede. He said they sold it to him and have helped him out zero since then. He is beyond frustrated. I just told him to wait for Cobb

Haha I've just been watching too many "Monk" reruns lately. But I knew he wasn't an actual customer of ours (despite his claims of such) as he knew nothing about the JB4 and SG customers are covered by an exclusive dealer we have in SG. They can't order direct even if they want to. Once I decided it was a vishnu troll account there were only a handful of possible suspects and each has his own writing style. Click here to enlarge

It's pretty amazing someone can come on the forum under a false identity, claim to be a JB4 customer who is unhappy with it but just happens to love his open flash tablet, and then procede (pun intended) to preach to everyone about how they are acting underhanded with their treatment of Shiv. You can't make this stuff up. I caught Shiv doing the same thing on n54tech a few years ago. Claiming to be a long time JB4 user who just tried the procede and claiming how much better it is. lol. I bet he knew the whole time it was Ashwin.

Always happy to help. We have several guys here (the intake is the brain child of Jason @ BMS) but lately I've been trying to prune more of my emails over to Jon @ BMS so I can spend more time on R&D. Have lots of projects on the grill. But currently I'm handling maybe 150 emails per day 7 days a week and it's killing me slowly. Not to mention slowing down product development. Sounds like me, if I can take a break from the emails long enough to eat its lucky. I did just try to take 2 weeks off. It ended up being about 1 week kinda off and the other just driving across the country.. haha

if Shiv actually worked like you do there would be far less animosity toward him or his product.

Considering we were running 100% E85 with a flash only and having no issues, Shiv is just being lazy and doesn't want to try to figure out fueling.
