I think we are seeing that as power levels increase so does the need for a flash so really the records will have some kind of flash involvement one way or another.

My point isn't who is taking or isn't taking Shiv's side. My point is Shiv's side isn't even relevant any longer.

It will be released Yestermorrow. Honestly, I don't know, it isn't really even something that anyone has really brought up. Out of all the topics being spoken about, a release date isn't one of them. There is just more work to do, once the 'work' is done, then perhaps this will become a topic. It may be very soon and I think it will be. More flashes, reading and testing needs to go under the belt first. I'm not saying this subject can't sprout up tomorrow, but nobody is talking about anything specific yesterday or today.

Thanks to this forum and to everyone else involved for all the hard work. I was going to buy the other flasher before I saw this yesterday. This is going to be amazing for 98% of the N54 owners once done. Game changer!!!

There are several testing it and once the bugs are worked out then it will be posted. Most of the guys working on it have full time jobs. But, I understand it's pretty close. Click here to enlarge

Modifying the actual program running on the DME is outside of the scope of the project at the moment. We would like nothing more than to disassemble the BIN files for the various DMEs and offer features like consolidating the two banks of the engine into one, or setting the catalyst readiness monitor to always ready, but those things are not even on the radar at this point.

Oh no, nothing that complicated. Shiv alluded to a table that can be modified to simply lower the sensitivity of the sensor that triggers a fault. Probably not available with Cobb because of liability reasons (understandably). No need to muck around with forcing readiness Click here to enlarge

The tablet is about the same size and thickness as a Nintendo DS XL only with less than half the available screen size. It's fine for loading flash tunes or logging but leaving it connected full time is not practical IMHO.

On the new Cobb it looks OK also. I do support them but if I'm being completely honest it falls a bit in to the "so what?" category to me. I think if they want to make a hardware change like that rather than just offering 50% off for trade ins, etc, they should be very aggressive in swapping the hardware out for people who want the new form factor. e.g. let existing customers change over for the actual hardware value which is probably in the $150 range. But, just my opinion there.
