S63TU before and after dyno results with AMS Performance Catless downpipes, Gruppe M intake, and Eisenmann Race exhaust for F10 M5 and F12/F13 M6

Great before and after Dynojet results here for the S63TU Twin Turbo V8 in the new F10 M5 and F12/F13 M6. IND-Distribution took a stock F10 M5 and added AMS Performance catless downpipes, the Gruppe M intake, Eisennmann center pipes, and the Eisenmann Race exhaust. So, all bolt on modifications without an ECU tune. The result? A gain of almost 60 horsepower at the wheels on a Dynojet in SAE correction.

Peak torque figures rise from 476 pound-feet at the wheels to 530 pound-feet at the wheels. The torque gains are through the entire curve, very impressive.

Now imagine all this with a tune on top. Easily over 600 wheel horsepower, all with bolt ons. The S63TU despite being in a higher state of tune from the factory than the S63 is responding quite well to bolt on modifications and not giving up much to the larger AMG M157 especially considering this is still early in the tuning phase for the motor.

Graph below, thank you to IND-Distribution for the graph @Nate@IND @Ilia@IND @IND-Distribution

M157 is putting down a lot more torque.

Why no tune numbers for S63? No one tuning them yet?

Of course, it's a bigger motor. But this motor is revving higher.

There's a lot of S63 tune numbers out there. Just look in the forum.

Skimming through the threads. Didn't see any spectacular numbers from tuned S63. Guess tuners need more time with the engine.

Did see Weistec put down 684whp and 765wtq with tune and downpipes only. That is amazing.

Yup stock turbos they put those numbers down while the s63tu is a great motor it wont be running with the m157 until they can fully crack the ECU and crank the boost up big time. How did the m157 ecu get cracked/tuned so fast while no one has really turned up the s63tu? is bmw really encrypting their cars that hard now to keep tuners out

I'd say bolt ons versus bols ons is close as the M5 has the dual clutch advantage. The M157 advantage right now is really upgraded turbos.

That really is impressive for bolt-ons - that's nearly a 15% increase over stock power - which already is pretty high when comparing to other cars. I would like to see some 0-160 numbers for this pre and post modding - that's crazy cheap power.

It's incredible. I don't believe these results. BMW created a monster engine. Now they have to create a lighter car to match that power, otherwise it's just wasted.

It's pretty simple, turbo motors respond well to bolt ons.

With a great tune on top of this, more like 650whp? Is this essentially a straight-piped car now?

Essentially straight piped yes unless a second set of cats is preserved.

I don't know about 650 whp but yes definitely over 600 whp.

Yeah I'm wondering about that second set of cats. If ETG's tune is as good as they say it is then it might be close to that number, especially if those cats still have to be taken out.

The F10 M5 and F12/F13 M6 do not have any secondary cats. With the AMS catless downpipes we are fully straight piped.

Oh really? That's good news. So this thing just needs a tune and it's set. Sounds like an amazing car. Bet it sounds nice too Click here to enlarge
