Carrera GT vs. Modded 997 GT2

Not sure what the mods on the GT2 are:

I know of one guy who is supposedly attempting. In all honestly, I love the CGT, but I would take a 997GT2 over it.

Basically, ask me this last year and I would've said CGT all the way, but now I rather want the 918 Click here to enlarge

No surprise, the GT2 barelly needs any mods to pull on a CGT.

My best friend has a CGT, but it only has 30 miles on it, so he won't take it out to run me Click here to enlarge

Of course, but it's now outdated and soon to be superceded by the 918.

A hybrid green hippie pleasing machine will never supersede a raw, mid-engine, high revving naturally aspirated V10. You like those don't you? Click here to enlarge

I like the 918 and it will be a great achievement, but the Carrera GT is a very special car with a different philosophy.

I guess. I like both cars. I wanted a CGT and still do. In my book, I prefer raw and visceral cars. The 918 however, there is something extremely beautiful about it ...

I agree, I like both as well. The CGT is hardcore, raw and visceral as you said. The 918 is gorgeous, but just different.

Guy in the GT cant shift.
Some people live long, meaningful lives.

Other people eat shit and die.

I'm not racist, I hate everybody equally; especially fat people.

    +1 There's just something about the GT2 that I can't describe.

Nah, I can't blame him for not putting miles on it. He will make money on it in a few years
