    EFI-Logic downpipes have arrived

My EFI-Logic downpipes have arrived for my 2012 X5 50i.

My initial impression is that they are well made. Nice thick flanges, nice welds, well packaged.

I was happy dealing with EFI-Logic. They delivered exactly when agreed and packaged everything well.

Hopefully, I can beat the rain and get them installed today.

I ended up going with catted AR Design downpipes. EFI Logic was not able to deliver in the timeframe I needed. The downpipes that EFI Logic had designed were for a bolt on flange and my X5 has a slip on connection. Just to be clear, EFI Logic made a very nice product and we did try to work together. They just were not able to deliver in the timeframe I needed.

I am happy with the AR Design catted down pipes I have now. They really helped the low/mid-range and supposedly add +35-40 HP peak. I hope to get to the track soon to see the improvements. Plus I can race my X5 against the minivan my wife made me buy (Mercedes R63) :-)

No dyno numbers. I will get it back to the track and see what the MPH is.

Maybe I will bring the X5 and the R63 to the Dyno one day for fun.
