Sticky is trying to redefine and take over the forum game. As long as we keep great data and excellent vendors here I am all for it. However though, I think adding some of these will invite the kids rather than mature adults. Anyway to help keep the levels where they are? Also my moderator offer still stands.

    Performanceautoboost.com

I think you need to make a tag line under the main site like " the boost network for all performance autos, all makes, all models, NA or boosted". I mean that's real rough but somehow you need to get it through people's heads that these sites arent only for boosted(turbo or supercharged) cars bc sometimes I think that's all people think about when they see Bimmerboost.

Sticky I think your striking at the right time and you should grow the site like this. You'll have to pull off some marketing on a budget but it can be done.

Start with the network, then get some forum members with sick cars, do "features" on those cars with pics and mod lists, videos, etc... and load everyone up with stickers and tshirts. Sponsor events, get mentioned in magazines, the site will take off. I also think you'll need moderators at some point, the free for all attitude, while good, can scare some people away.

Yes exactly. And to take over the game you need the kids as well as the noobs because they buy things.

Rather than having moderators I will lower rep restrictions. For now, I'm good.

And if it all takes off it's a rising tide pulling everything up. It's brilliant really.

What about adding aussieboost.com for the Australian makes? becauseboost.com sounds great. I spent some time last night trying to think of an alternative but kept going back to becauseboost.com

Considering the Australians speak English not a bad idea.

    What are the Aussie makes?

Holden is the only big one right now. I thought there were more when I posted that. They do have a tuner market though.

    From wiki:

Current or previous tuning or customization companies in Australia include:
Holden Special Vehicles – Holden's in-house tuning company.
Ford Performance Vehicles – Ford Australia's in-house tuning company.
Holden Dealer Team – Aftermarket Holden tuning company.
Walkinshaw Performance – Aftermarket Holden Special Vehicles and Hummer tuning company.
Bavariacars – Aftermarket BMW tuning company.

I don't know if it is worth it for Holden which is basically just GM anyway.

As I think it through more it doesn't make a ton of sense. I sort of assumed they had more of an independent car market when I suggested it

becauseboost.com just doesn't sound right. It sounds almost like a meme(becauser racecar) and i don't think it will be good long term to have the central site named in such a way as to be confused as a joke by outsiders.

    autoboost.com sounds better IMHO.

I will say, i am really looking forward to an influx of new users on various platforms. Good times are coming i believe.

What about globalboost? That way it would encompass all the different makes and regions.
