This second one looks a little more tame, most HP you could prob get without FI on pump gas (very minor change to the CR) and you're below the TQ created by a 650HP supercharged S65.

Look how much earlier the torque peters off at high revs. It might not look like much but I bet you can feel it. Meaning that the high revving fun of the standard S65 is no longer there. Am I off about this?

    You're off... Here's a dyno sheet for a 100% stock E90 M3

As you can see, with both the Stock + Stroker motors, TQ slowly decreases after 7000 RPMs. And regardless if it's Stock Motor, Supercharged or a Stroker, it's a high reving motor where Peak HP is made at 8200 RPMs.

Actually the stroker shifts peak HP to the left.

Looking at those two VAC stroker dyno graphs, it kinda depends. In the Stroker Sprint Engine, peak power still appears to be at 8200 RPMs, while in the Stroker w/ the Schrick Cams it appears the power band was moved left with peak power around 7800 RPMs(?)

It doesn't depend, it does move it to the left. Hence why the cams would make even more sense on the stroker multiplying for some serious peak hp at 8300 rpm.

Speaking of track events I believe there is one next month on a Friday that EFI Logics is hosting $249 for the day. I'll find out more details and get back to you.

NASA weekends (like this weekend) typically have DEs (driving events) time trials and races. DE is what you would be doing. This weekend is sold out but be sure to look at the NASA NE, DelVal BMWCCA and NJ BMWCCA sites to see what DEs are coming up. They sell out quick.

If you are around I do suggest just stopping by one of these events when someone you know is there - you can get a feel for how everything works.
