Swap an S85 V10 with twin superchargers into a BMW 1-Series? Sure, why not?

Many, many BMW engine swaps have been done to death. The S54 and S50 motors in particular have frequently found a home in various BMW chassis'. The big daddy of all BMW motor swaps is the S85 V10 swap. Putting arguably the best naturally aspirated M motor ever produced (reference the BimmerBoost M engine ranking) in a lighter chassis is a recipe for fun.

Especially when you throw twin superchargers on top. The supercharger kit is from G-Power and it does not come cheap ($30k+ depending on options) but this is clearly a build that spared no expense. Everything looks like it fits as if it was from the factory. Even the E60 M5 SMG transmission was swapped over.

What makes this particularly impressive is it is an E87 1-Series but it could just as easily be done to an E82 1-Series. Even an E82 1M and then it would finally have a real M motor under the hood. Yes, a shot at BMW's engine choice for that model.

Hopefully we will see this car in action and maybe some dyno figures although G-Power's S85 blowers trail other options until you go the built motor route for $50k+. Regardless, this car was already very quick in naturally aspirated form so let's see what it does now.

Any traction out back? I can see tires melting before fourth gear.

Sure like both 2002 in the showroom.
