It just got deleted there as well.

The deal was that G-Power bought Gemballa, the first owner of one of the MIG-U1 controlled 30% of its profits and Gemballa 70%. They had that agreement in contract. He thought, now that G-Power bought Gemballa, that he could keep 100% of the profits Vs 30% he got before. He claimed that he had all the original molds, etc, to reproduce the MIG-U1's... He also stated he would not provide G-Power with the pictures they were requesting. It seems the situation bit him in the ass, because even if Gemballa got sold, whoever bought it would now be the owner of the previous rights of Gemballa, like the 70% profit of MIG-U1's anyways... The guy is an idiot... If G-Power did in fact buy Gemballa, then they have and own the rights to any and all previous agreements Gemballa had.

The guy on that other website(An owner of an MIG-U1 and owner of 30% of the rights of its profits), that started that thread, claims he received an email from G-Power stating so, and requesting the pics from him because of his involvement with Gemballa. It seems, it has not been officially released by any company at the moment. The "articles" are getting deleting, because the guy is an idiot, thinking he would now own 100% of the profits if Gemballa got sold.

I see, well, I'm not sure why he would think that.

So what ever happened to Uwe. Did they eventually find him? I heard he was in south africa, but what is the full story? Why did he shut down and why did he need lots of cash 'immediately'.

Uwe was either kidnapped/killed or is hiding in SA due to tax problems, and company related matters. No word since his disappearance in February. There are many details that make either scenario a possibility. Google "Uwe missing / kidnapped" and read the articles.

Gemballa is coming back to the world of exclusive tuning. That is a known fact. The press conference next Monday will unveil all the details, but today we can already share with you an exclusive interview in Prestige Cars magazine with the new ceo, Andreas Schwarz (40). Andy is a dear friend of the GTspirit team and he brings with him years of experience in finishing and vending of high-class vehicles.

After the disappearance of Uwe Gemballa in South Africa, the Swabian from Neidlingen joined forces with a powerful investor, the automobile enthusiast and finance expert Steffen Korbach. Steffen is a known figure in the world of automotive tuning and a close friend to members of our team. Of course, we were amazed by the news that both have joined together to restart the powerful Gemballa brand. Schwarz says:

'With a completely new company and an investment of a million, we are going into a bright future. We have efficiently planned the costs and also equipped with the necessary know-how.

As well as the rights to the name, we have bought some of the assets. The design guidelines should continue on the basis of previous works and we are already working on concepts for the Porsche Panamera, the new Cayenne and the Ferrari Enzo. The know-how in terms of finance provided by Korbach as investor should also enable the company to access the capital market more easily in the future.
The main target of all this is the long-term establishment of the Gemballa brand as a manufacturer.

Without self-inflicted time constraints. Currently, we are making plans in the field of engine tuning and the marketing of parts such as bodykits, wheel rims and chassis frames. We see an enormous amount of potential in this field, which has to be exploited. Brand awareness shouldn’t pose a problem in achieving this thanks to Gemballa’s 30-year track record in the car industry. One deadline for the participants is the Top Marques in Abu Dhabi, which is taking place from 19 to 22 January 2011. They have hired a stand there and the new company will present its first products.

Hence, there will still be automobile creations in the future which can be purchased for six-figure amounts. With wind in their sails and reliable transactions, potential buyers should be found the world over. But the spare parts market could also open up a wider audience to the new makers. And who knows what types of car will be going under the name Gemballa in future. One thing is certain: car enthusiasts the whole world over are already looking forward to it.'

Schwarz stated in the interview that he has acquired all the rights and that new projects are coming really soon. GTspirit wishes both of them all the best and success with their new company.

Stay tuned for more on Monday and the near future. GTspirit has a close cooperation and shares content with Prestige Cars. So make sure you receive the new Summer 2010 magazine and check out our stories. If you need anymore information regarding the magazine feel free to contact us.

Last week, there was a new CEO, and now he's announcing the start up. It sounds like it's a whole new company, but they aren't going to stop tuning Porsches and other cars.

A Fresh Start for the GEMBALLA Brand

Andreas Schwarz is in charge of the new GEMBALLA GmbH

"Leonberg, 23 August 2010. For around 30 years the brand GEMBALLA has been a global name in the performance improvement and modification of predominantly Porsche vehicles, and in the construction of own-brand vehicles based on Porsche body shells. GEMBALLA has made a name for itself as one of the most extreme Porsche tuners and has received worldwide attention with its modified Porsches such as the GEMBALLA Avalanche, which is based on the Porsche 911, or the GEMBALLA Mirage GT, based on the Porsche Carrera GT.

Since August 16, 2010, Andreas Schwarz (40) has been in charge of the emotional GEMBALLA brand. Schwarz reserved the rights of the old company that had already been broken up by liquidators and shut down, and founded a new company, GEMBALLA GmbH. The company headquarters are located at Mollenbachstraße 17 in Leonberg.

"With a totally new company and an investment of millions, we are now looking towards a secure future", says managing director (CEO) Andreas Schwarz. The educated Swabian is a sports car expert, who has many years' experience in upgrading and marketing luxury high-class automobiles. Together with investor Steffen Korbach, the new creator of GEMBALLA cars has made cost-efficient plans.

"As well as the rights to the name, we've also purchased some assets and are starting off with 22 employees", Schwarz continues. "We plan to continue the GEMBALLA design line following the old models. We're already working on various concepts for the Porsche Panamera and the new Porsche Cayenne among others."

The main goal: to expand and develop the GEMBALLA brand as a manufacturer. Without facing too much time pressure. Currently, Andreas Schwarz is making plans in motor tuning and the marketing of parts such as bodykits, rims, brakes and suspension systems.

"We've got enormous potential in this area that can be taken advantage of - the recognition of the GEMBALLA name with its near 30-year tradition really helps", says Andreas Schwarz.

That is why we will see automobile creations from GEMBALLA in the future - with a breath of fresh air for the brand and reliable business under the GEMBALLA name. The showroom in Leonberg is now open for customers and all interested parties.

For more information, go to gemballa.com."

I doubt these guys can do much of anything except give you business cards with the Gemballa name on them.
