    Very nice!

How is the track prep at PBIR on Test & Tune night these days? How many cars typically show up on a Wednesday or Friday?

It was a blessing the track was dead, it usually is busy. There was about a hand full of slickster cars, and about less than 10 street cars. After my 8th run and called it the day.

The track was nice and stickey

I have come to learn that somethings should be left alone. Settling for less is sometimes better. When I started feeling greedy thats when I had to call it the day. Last time my greed lead me to breaking something.

Now, I do feel the car has reached its limits at its level of tuning for runing less than 18 PSI. I could ask Lenny@RENNtech to up it, but I dont feel comfortable running that boost on these stock turbos as yourself regardless of the majority having no issues.

Now, if I have a set of replacement turbos on the side like the VS2 or VS3 then I will pump it up to where you were at per the logs I saw Click here to enlarge before switching them out for upgrades.

So you sir remain unmatched at this time.

And where do I hit 18psi and for how long? Click here to enlarge Feel free to compare our timing and boost at high rpms and you may catch a surprise since thats where we will be the majority of the time in a drag race. Click here to enlarge

So while it is true that I hit 18psi in the midrange for a split second, I am also nowhere near targetting 15-16psi at high rpms.

+1000. Boost in the rpms used during racing is MORE aggressive on the renntech tune.

Different flavors of tuning for this platfrom, and you are 200 lbs lighter. Regardless though, it is something worth challenging when I have replacements on the side and I just dont want to beat that speed trap by a little but by alot if it is possible on this car with the stock turbos

That trap speed doesnt indicate anything special tuning wise especially if you were on higher than 93 octane. What gas was in the car? Your Et was done because the car hooked up.
