Bad news, I won't be there, no live coverage.

Just got a call from the guys working through the night and it just won't be possible to finish it to the level we would all like. So... it will have to wait for Sacramento probably next week.

Wish you could have made it Joseph, but the good news is that Sammy Russo's Gintani Stage 1 DCT M3, @ 5.5 psi on 91 octane, trapped 123 MPH! That is fantastic at that boost level. Congrats Sam!Click here to enlarge

What kind of launches did he do? LC or mashing? Do you know what drag radials he used and how he warmed them, etc,?

He was using his friends Nitto 285/18's and he warmed them up real good he said, not sure how good the tread really was, interesting because I used these tires on my 500whp E46 M3 and they held up well, I managed a 1.7 60'. He tried all the different launches I believe.

BTW, Sammy just did a Vbox pull only got one clean run in, tough to do in the middle of the day, lol, but he hit 8.9 on a slight incline, with a good amount of wheelspin during the 1st shift, this is pretty impressive at 5.5 psi and 91 octane. My E46 M3 hit 8.6, but this was after several attempts, on race fuel, etc. and I only managed to get into the 8's once, he did it on his 1st try! With some new tread, he should be able to lower that # and hit some good times.

He should run MS109 to advance the timing and try to find a slight decline at sea level. I would expect low 8's on his setup, easy.

Should be interesting to see what I run Click here to enlarge

With some tires I think he can hit low 8's! But I like what you're thinking, with MS109 it could be a 7.9! Not bad at all for only 5.5psi. No doubt should be very interesting to see what you hit!
