Awesome run Terry...how did the trans hold up at the end of the day?

Looking at the Dragtimes for fastest 1/4 mile 135i/335i (w/ RB Turbos, w/o Nitrous) it looks like:

    1. 11.100 @ 123.91mph - OldBooster (135i/Auto)
    2. 11.108 @ 127.21mph - LostMarine (335i/Auto)
    3. 11.125 @ 125.37mph - LostMarine (335i/Auto)
    4. 11.125 @ 125.37mph - Ali Abbas (335i/Auto)
    5. 11.177 @ 127.27mph - LostMarine (335i/Auto)

Slaughtered the trap speed record! Which tells a lot about the cars potential...With another trip out you might be lucky enough to break a record for upgraded stock frame twin turbos...Click here to enlarge

More powe and better track times. See e.g. dragtimes.com

Better boost control and more tuning flexibility from our ISO boost control system. Automatic wastegate compensation. The tune always adjusts the base wastegate tables to the current conditions, temperature, baro, targets, further improving boost targeting and control over a wide range of conditions. A functional flatline fix for automatic cars that suffer from the issue. Good 3.5 bar map sensor support. Not to mention progressive meth mapping, autotuning for E85, meth, race gas, etc, and all the other features included like in dash gauges, shift light, quick map switching on the go, built in log charting, etc, which to me make it worth the $500 alone ignoring all the tuning benefits. Once I started limiting boost it seemed fine. I don't think I'll bother doing any more 1/4 mile runs with it until it's rebuilt down the road. It seems to be holding boost just fine in 3rd still which is good enough for some runway runs so I'll probably just kick the can. Waiting around for a proven automatic trans rebuild and don't really feel like pioneering that front at the moment.

Thanks terry. After I get my e85 custom maps from ptf completed, might snag a jb4 and see how it compares. I dont want to run meth and am a manual, so those features are not for me. But I am curious. Cheers, James.
