1991 Toyota Supra 1JZ-GTE swap, Big Single Turbo. $5000

Up for sale is my Mark 3 Toyota Supra. I have owned this car for about 6 months or so. I bought it in the hopes of restoring the car back to 100% or transplant the motor into a Lexus SC300. The motor swap was done by a gentleman up in Cleveland. Swap is pretty clean wiring wise and most everything works(which I'll get into later on in this post). When I got the car, the stock turbos were shot and it needed some maintenance. Immediately after getting the car home, I ordered a single turbo set up and various other parts to go along with the goals I was working towards. The car right now has never been on a dyno, but I would estimate it to be around 380 - 400 wheel hp. It's trapped about 115/116mph. It runs about 16-18 psi and the A/F ratios stick in the low 11s to be on the safe side.

    Engine Mods:
1JZ-GTE swap, the 2JZ-GTE's little brother. Has close to the same potential and uses a lot of the same parts
Freshly rebuilt head(new valve stem seals, valves, ect ect)
USDM 2JZ-GTE Cams(machined for head when rebuilt)
    440CC Aristo injectors
    T4 Twin Scroll Manifold
    T66 GSP T4 flanged turbo
    50MM GSP RS Wastegate
    Driftmotion 3inch Downpipe
    Driftmotion 4inch intake pipe
3inch to 4inch custom cat back exhaust
    New OEM style Radiator
    Electronic universal fan
    Newer 2JZ-GTE water pump
    Samco Radiator Hoses
    2.5 Inch intercooler hard pipes
Aftermarket Front mount intercooler(thick core, pretty sure it's a 3.5")
HKS SSQ Blow Off Valve(might be a clone)
    Walbro 255 Fuel Pump

    Suspension Mods:
    Eibach Sport Springs
    OEM Sport Struts
Poly Urethane Bushings all over the Chassis, Energy Suspension

    Drivetrain:
R154 Transmission(no grinds, shifts perfect, couldn't be better)
Aftermarket 4 puck clutch(don't know the brand)
    3.73 LSD Rear end

    Electronic/Interior Mods:
    Apexi S-AFC II
    Autometer Boost Gauge
AEM Analog Wide Band O2 sensor and gauge
    Aftermarket "JDM" steering wheel
    Carbon Fiber Shift knob

    Wheels/Tires:
Comes with two sets for the right price
Staggered 18x8/19x9.5" Falken Koblenz wheels - This set up needs refinished. The chrome is pitted/pealing but could be saved. Tires need replaced
OEM turbo MK3 Supra wheels - Good condition. Missing a center cap or two. Tires are almost brand new.
    Aftermarket tuner lugs

As you can tell, there is a good amount of aftermarket into this car. Another couple thousand and this could easily be a 600 wheel hp car that is pretty solid. It's amazing how well this car drives for the age.

Here's the bad just so no one is confused on the listing:
It's missing some exterior trim pieces as seen in the photos
    Typically scratches on the car
The car has been painted. It isn't exactly perfect. Imperfections such as some bumbles and swirls
No Cat Converter on the car currently, so if you have echeck you would have to put a cat on it.
    Hood struts are gone
There is a slight drag on the battery if the car sits for a while, most likely caused by the security system.
    Could use an alignment.
    Heater core has been disconnected

Keep in mind, this is a 20+ year old car. She's seen some time but overall it's a real solid car. I really don't need to get rid of the car, however it will would sit all next year and I hate to see an awesome car sit(I bought a new toy and she's begging for some aftermarket parts). Is this a car you would drive across country? No. Is this a car you would bring out on the weekends to hurt some egos and experience one of the best sounding engines. I can provide more pictures at request. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me via PM. Thanks!

Thanks man! I read some of your posts recently about 2JZ stuff, so obviously you've been in that scene. I love these motors but I really wanna get my business off the ground and/or put some nastiness on the e90.

On a related note, Craigslist is the most painful outlet for selling vehicles ever. Low ballers, uneducated folks, and traders galore. A couple of my recent offers; one gentleman offered me a 91 CRX Si, Pontiac Sunfire, and $2K cash. Another person offered me a 2003 Honda 400EX(which has a value of 2500 at the most). Evidently people think I'm hard up or clueless. I'd trade for something that has slightly more value in it, that way it's worth my time to recondition and flip obviously.

Is there any rust on the body? Do you have any interior pictures also?

As for rust, there's only one spot I've seen. It's only a slight bubble forming about the size of a finger nail. It's actually located under where the rear trim goes on the driver rear quarter. Honestly unless I pointed it out, you wouldn't be able to see it.

Realistically I'm about 3.5 hours at Detroit. If you are interested, I can pm or post a phone so you don't have to wait for an answer as long. Thanks!
