Um, ya. The B6 S4 had a V8. B7 S4 and RS4. The C55 had a V8 and the E46 M3 was beating it with a six. Seriously, you don't even know your stuff. You just quite simply don't know your German cars well enough to have this discussion with me.

I can predict what you type before you say it, "weak weak weak weak" good argument. Really good responses, great stuff.

If you can't appreciate the motor I can't take you seriously. I'm an auto enthusiast first and really like BMW's motor building in general. You're in this ignorant mindset that is ant-S65 but go ahead and be in it. Ignorance is bliss apparently.

400 whp NA from a 4.0 liter motor isn't weak. Read the damn S65 section and get up to speed.

You're having trouble reading this thread too? No, you're not tapped, it's an issue of how much you want to spend:

This is the most ridiculous argument so far. What do you think I can do with an N54 MOTOR if I spent half as much as you're suggesting to spend to get that 440whp out of the S65...rods, pistons, sleeved block, lighter valve train, upgraded valve springs and spin it to 8.5-9k...then what

I'd expect you to understand you can't compare naturally aspirated and forced induction power potential. It's not the same thing.

Ah, you posted a picture. That clearly signifies an end to a debate or victory of some sort as is common practice on internet forums.

    Your answer is.

If you expect naturally aspirated power potential and forced induction power potential to be the same why are we even talking?

99% of people into motorsports knew this. No biggie of course, but it was never a secret.

Some people in this thread aren't aware something called "Motorsport" exists.

I'm guessing a stroker motor, don't believe there is a stock displacement car with those type of numbers.
