VAC Motorsports has coated aftermarket S85 bearings

I forget who was asking for them but yes, VAC has S85 bearings in stock go get them:

Since the cars are becoming older and less expensive, more people are building the S85s. Our coated bearings are the perfect choice for any build Some others have seen premature bearing wear and have purchased these bearings and our exclusive ARP rod bolts to tidy up the engine too.

I just did a DIY on my rod bearings. These are at 50K on a bone stock S85 motor.

Are you the org owner of the car?
    Ever ran low on oil?
Or let the oil get to temp before beating on it?

I think oil temp before getting on the car and high rpms is a big issue aswell people need to understand that would wear things like these.

2nd owner, bought at 40k now has 50k. I have done 2 UOA during the 10k and lead only at 8. Just decided to change them and take a look. Posted findings on M5board. Looks like a few are starting to pop north of 80k on the S85. I always warm up carefully. M3 forums gurus say the TWS is too thick for cold starts as BMW set the oil clearance too tight. I'll pull them again at 100k and take a look. Oh well.

Wouldn't hurt going to a different oil.
