They have a much more "normal" commercial on their Facebook page. I get the feeling the one above is satire.

Could you post a little diagram on how you plumbed the oil/water lines for the turbo.

Did you use something to block off one set?

A block off plate was made. Other than the pictures earlier in the thread showing the drain and oil feed plumbed into the turbo... I honestly dont know enough to accurately describe it. With my job being on the other side of the continent, I gave the shop the car, told them my goals and provided them the turbo. I had minimal involvement on the technical side of things. I basically said do what you gotta do and it costs what it costs and takes as long as it takes. I know they could pump one out now on a much quicker timeline though as they have done it once now. Honestly you'd have to give them a call and ask them.

Talked to them yesterday on the phone, seem like cool guys. They are def not the only ones building a forged N54. I have talked to about 4-5 people now who are in the process of doing so. One guy in Europe in particular who is basically done, and the thing looks pretty solid. I like the open deck cylinder wall fix.
the 'open deck cylinder wall fix' doesn't seem very fix-y? haha.

wouldn't the weakest points be the edges with the biggest gap?

Thats going to add quite a bit of strength. The biggest problem with the open deck is it has no support anywhere and can flex rather easily. By triangulating the corners its going to beef it up quite a bit.

interesting. i dint know that he touches the fuel rail. I know that the "fake" HPFPupgrade had mentioned the fuel rail, AND THEN VTT said he does.. so its all very odd, the timing of it and all..

How it will work is, you can either send us your pump and another fuel system part we will need, or we can get them for you and just add it to the price.
I take it it's the rail he is talking about and just didn't want to state it at the beginning so others wouldn't figure it out?

well, its interesting that he DIDNT mention it, but HPFPUpgrade did, so not sure how the "fake" guy figured it out so coincidentally fast..

You reversed it; the coolant lines are up high and the oil supply would be the lower one. I like the art work, though lol.

Not sure which thread i saw it in, but I did read where Vargas mentioned that your HPFP and fuel rail would need to be sent. I remember thinking that having to mod the fuel rail never even occurred to me, since it looks plenty big enough from the outside. It turns out the orifices to the injectors are tiny. That was a couple of weeks ago, I believe.

thats true, but the points they've placed the blocks (what's the actual design underneath the cap bits anyway?) would have less stress relative to strength? ie they're the thicker spot to begin with..?

also it doesn't cover EVERY spot.. like the corners up the top and down the bottom - pic

Click here to enlarge would be more what i'd think? - if it can't flex in one direction... it's going to flex (very slightly) more in the directions it CAN?

ED: i mean, they're not going to the trouble of making tightly fitted (it seems) or the full gasket style ones.. not like it's TOO much more effort for the assurance?
are these going to be welded in or something?
