    e85 EVO 8 vs C5 Z06

So from what I read the EVO is FBO with an EVO 9 turbo and e85 tune. The Z06 has headers and intake and stock tune. Judging from the youtube comments the Z06 driver was a sore loser too. LOL

Nice! How would your Evo stack up against that one?

I would beat it pretty severely. That has a stock evo 9 turbo on it which i think is maxed out around 425HP. My GT35r will get me to around 600HP. I should be in the 550HP range when i pick the car up Monday. My guess is that green EVO is around 425HP.

Yeah stock ix turbos max out around 420ish hp. I put down 414awhp with bolt ons and no cams on e85. I don't know though, if I was the vette owner, I would get pissed also if I lost to a green car lol. The vette really needs a tune though so all those mods come into harmony with each other. EVO is impressive, looks like it traps in the high teens?

If the Z06 owner doesn't want to lose he should get a tune or some serious mods. Headers only and a sore loser? Get some parts dude.

Good runs! The thing about EVO's is you have no clue what their laying down and a lot of them are decently modded. Plenty of them with JMS Racing stickers around my way.. You don't mess with those unless your laying down 500+whp and even then you may get ran on.

seen plenty evo 9 stock turbo cars make close to mid 4's and trap in the mid 120's with light weight reduction...(seats spare)

Turbo cars aren't judged by just their parts...how they come together is what makes the car fast. Some get it better than others. There are more extreme cases of a few bottom 10 second ones still on the stock turbo trapping 130+. But that's with real weight reduction and a nice turbo manifold. Low 4's and high teens is the lower side of that chart...
