    also, I have noticed the IS gets a ton better traction than my I with comparable mods but with a 1cm wider tire. That being said, it has wheel hop issues the I never had. Is there any correlation? IE, will i loss some traction, assuming no wheel hop, with the diff kit?

    How will you lose traction with no wheel hop? You gain traction. You rear will be more planted.

    wheel hop is intermittent now. It is only a real problem from a dig. But north of 15mph, its not a problem. My old car would spin its tires through second, winter or summer. The new car never spins the tires in a straight line.

    and I am short about 100whp, its going to test traction.

    I miss having a car that I need to fight a little to keep the back end behind me. AWD really is a duller drive, at least on the stree.
