I think it would only depend on if the diff is welded or not.

Actually I don't think it matters if welded or not. I would look at REAL OEM and compare the rear subframes to check if they use the same part numbers for the diff bushings. I would reach out to Rick as he would be able to tell you quickly.

If it doesn't matter then it should be no issue.

lol, i love repeaters. someone once said it over here, so i think ill say it over here because i dont know anything about it, but i need to look like i do

to answer your question, there shouldnt be a change. the only thing that may be different is the length of the bolt needed/required. I dont have all the specifics about it, but recall that was the only change from one model year to another

I have confirmed this with Rick. As long as it is M/T to M/T car, they are the same.

I will purchase this from Mithiral67 and review it once I get it installed.

Already in progress. Much to my chagrin, it turns out only the two front bushings are interchangeable with the N54 kit for M's(subframe is COMPLETELY different)....after staring at it for a bit inspiration has struck. It will be vastly different than the other version regarding the rear half, but equally as effective...and totally bolt in/reversible....etc.
very strange, since it's a common mod to put M subframe bushings (all) on non-M subframes?

These replace the differential mount bushings, So yes,you can use the M3 subframe to body bushings in conjunction with the kit. Next round will be ready to ship 12/25/12.
ah so it JUST replaces the diff mount bushings?

and then mounts to some blank holes in the subframe (M brace too i assume?)

    fair enough

It includes a 4th large bushing to fill a blank as well, instead of 3 mounting points you get 4.

The M's diff design is different enough that it required a separate tack. You can see the pictures of both kits here (somewhere) or on www.defivfabrication.com

I just had a look at the website and it looks as though he has 2 different kits. 1 is for the S65/M3 and the other is the the N54 135, 335 and 1M.

I don't know too much about diff lock down kits but if it's on the differential housing and rear subframe wouldn't the E9x M3 and E82 1M require the same diff lock down kit?

Also, wouldn't the N54 kits also work on any N55 135/335? I've checked RealOEM and the part numbers for the final drive unit (diff) and the rear axle carrier (subframe) are the same.
