No matter what the outcome is you guys will find something ridiculous to complain about, even if it is as simple as the flywheel needing replacement.

New flywheel and clutch is getting installed tomorrow afternoon. I'm going to try to put 300 miles on it after the install. Then we will know the results.

Good luck buddy, are you planning to hit the strip anytime soon? I might have to make the trip down south to see your beast run and see what i can squeek out.

Well, unfortunately, we are all going to have to wait longer. Spec screwed up and sent me the wrong pilot bearing and fork. SPECtacular. Pun intended.

And she drives it on Hoosier slicks; IDGAF what anyone says, car looks 100% business, can only hope that mine will graduate from her modded Cooper S to something like that someday...

Unfortunately (or fortunately), she doesn't daily drive on the Hoosier slicks. Those wheels/slicks belong to me and were mounted just to be run at the dragstrip this past saturday. Sadly, the track didn't open due to rain. Her daily wheels are Volk TE-37s with Toyo R888s. Hopefully next weekend looks better weather-wise. Should run quite a bit faster than my 10.82 pass if all goes well. The car should be capable of a 10.6-10.7 pass if all goes well.

She likely weighs less than you (hopefully) so there's some savings there I guess?
