    JAWS Motorsport BMW M3 E30 1988 - S54 Stage 3 Supercharged 650whp + SMGII?

    So we just bought a car from a dear friend who owned it for 8-9 years, 7 years ago we teamed up with him and used the car for dragracing, best time in this car ever is 9,33sec (60-fot 1,4) and 240km/h+ in topspeed with a S14B23 (4-cyl 2,3L) 746Bhp.

    We also know the previous owner (Jakan Racing) who had it for many years before this. This car really has some history and are the beginning of the Bmw turbo era that started in Sweden in the 90´s.

    I will write more about spec on the car further on..

    It was red back in the days..now it has a EVO widebody kit and painted in a dark/steel grey colour...will update with more picture´s along the way.

    Our plans now is to build a Stage 3 JAWS S54 engine and run it on E85 and fit in the car..goal is 650-700whp, we would love to use the SMGII gearbox as well along with the MSS54 system (OEM ecu) but we need to take it to the drawing board and discuss it, otherwise we will go with the 6-speed E34 M5 gearbox that we used in this car b4 and last option a aftermarket ecu with all the motorsport features avaible.

    So engine and gearbox is 1th goal, when its up and running we will look over the chassie/suspension and brakes as the idea is to use it as a trackday/timeattack car.

    So you are going to swap in an S54, run E85, and then turbo it I take it?

    No, we swap in a fully forged S54 like the Stage 3 we did b4 and also supercharge it, we would like to use MSS54 ecu and also the SMGII gearbox with shift paddles on the steering wheel, but we need to draw it up and see what time it takes and if we can pull it of in a few months.

    My other customer and friend is building a badass turbo E46 M3 that will be tuned with MSS54 oem ecu Click here to enlarge , 7-800whp is the goal...

    It depends how much work it is..we wanna have fun with this car , no build for gaining customers so ..if we take an easy path we might go the 6 speed manual..

    sweet project! I still miss the SMGII at times...even with its poor manners at low speed. Glad to see you try and retain it.

    We dropped the project for now...we realize there is no room for it, we must focus on our E46 M3 kit as well as on our M5 E60 products, and the most important our customers.
