    Hahaha was that you started that thread??? I've posted in it a few times, most recently how someone said it must be a lower kit like the 535. Responded w/ that video of you vs. the 600 and there no real difference until 120+

    Im running a similar set up but down about 20 hp and had no problem with one SS then raced a friends and it hung pretty well, i was shocked. The TQ gets the weight moving pretty good but the top end on the M3 takes a little back in each gear.

    Maro has stock displacement,6.2L. It is a LS3 engine. Ls2 has the 6.0L

    More often than not it is the case. In terms of the EVO while its a 4cyl motor its got an incredible tq band and with 450whp they go damn well. If the EVO is anywhere near its boost curve its gonna be a problem. When done correctly it has very little in the way of lag.

    OMG these guys are just dumb... No clue about tq curves or for that matter what the Maro weighs. I'm no Maro fan but the weight difference is not that damn big bigger still maybe the M is just slow. They got him on the bottle, on DR's and quoting Grand Am announcers about the cars large frontal area for aero. They say its got forged internals LOL, do they not know it doesnt make you more power by itself or that in many cases its heavier rotating pieces thus taking more power to spin. Gotta love fan boys

    I think its a bit naive is all... I cant claim to know all about all cars as some people around here do. I stick to what I know and have experienced/witnessed. However these dudes really seem to believe a FI M3 is unbeatable. Here's my question when ESS says its a 600 kit, is that mean to be crank or who?

    Yea, whenever it's the ESS-XXX, the XXX stands for BHP/Crank HP. BUT by some amazing forces, the ESS-625 kits are putting down 575 RWHP

    what's with people saying 'torque won the race' ... do you know how torque/hp even works?

    not to mention, they start at fairly high RPM, the M3 would have been WELL into it's upper power band.

    Ya dude tons of all motor Camaro's trapping 130+ right?

    It isn't anything about torque. A roll on race is won by top end HP, period or you can go race a diesel. And you mention torque curve without even considering gearing.

    This race makes no sense. A 570 wheel DCT M3 isn't losing to a 520 whp Camaro. The problem is you don't know what pulley, flash, etc., ESS is running as they play games.

    I can tel you this much, my M3 would have crushed this Camaro. Not that the Camaro isn't quick but even blown LS3 camaros have been trapping in the 12X range so something is off here either on the M3 side not being as strong as proclaimed, which is likely, or the Camaro running stronger than portrayed.
