Bad news for me... Looking for shop while here in NY

Any recommended shops in NY? Preferrably the Long Island area. Came up for thanksgiving, and hit a massive pothole on Belt PKWY. Upon impact, i heard something fall from the driver side rear and saw it bouncing in the road. Even worse, there weren't any emergency pull off areas for another 4+ miles of driving. Now i have constant knocking coming from the rear driver side. It was rattling, but then heard something else fall off. Im guessing whatever was rattling broke completely off and after a few more bumps just fell.

The closer to LI the better. Looking to get to a shop tomorrow if possible. So much for my vacation... :/

ON Long Island you have Martino Auto Concepts -- So if it's just body damage they'll be able to patch it up. If it's structural damage, Camber Toe is also in Lynbrook & AutoCouture in North NJ. Those are the closest 2 that I can think of though Click here to enlarge

The alignment is probably $#@!ed. Sears does a great alignment. There is a Sears auto center in Massapequa.

I know I've gotten emails from dealers in NJ (Park Ave/Morristown) are both open for limited hours tomorrow. You're probably gonna get fooked in the booty hole on service hours, but it sounds like you need everything fixed ASAP

I always had to travel around LI to find a place that could take my car that was lowered. Had to find a place that had a Hunter with a lift.

The shock snapped off from the stud going into the trunk. The knock I was hearing was the top of the strut banging against the wheel well. The rattling was all the washers, bushings, etc stuck in the wheel well and bouncing around. When the rattling stop, thats when all the pieces finally fell out. Crazy! The Bolt and top top piece of the stud was rolling around in the trunk.

Matt and the guys ruled it installation error by a shop I had do the install...smh Very dangerous.

He said it was a no name place down near Baltimore. They didnt use the OEM nuts up top and shaft pulled the threads off and it all came loose. I could possibly chalk it up to product failure but Ive never seen a pothole break a strut like that.

The nut was still in the trunk...that was rounded out too.
