    MPG high scores?

I've been a long time lurker but just got into an 07 AW e90 335i after coming from a 6-speed accord (totaled). I'm amazed at the efficiency figures I can get from the direct injection and turbos! Even on this terrible winter blend 93 here in Ohio I'm getting low 30s mpg completely stock. In my V6 Accord I managed a whopping 36 mpg crossing the salt flats with a 200 mile stint of 38, but I bet I could beat that and still make twice the WHP now! Click here to enlarge

Midwesterners / others in similar climates: beat it.

Ya I get better gas mileage than my old Acura 4-banger. I was pretty surprised when I drove from Detroit to Indianapolis and still had 1/4'ths left in the tank Click here to enlarge

If i'm on straight pump gas, I can squeeze 29-30 mpg highway at 60-65mph. At 75-80 it's more like 26-27, but still amazing! My wife's IS250 AWD gets worse mileage at less than half the power output!

Dam not sure how your managing that. I've heard of short trips of 30+ but not any consistant even though ohio is flat. I've bested 27.5 with cruise control at 75 on the highway the entire tank. Are you verifying when you fill up that the computer numbers is right?

I have gotten 500 miles easily on a tank as well if I drive normal and don't rip. I know if you put more air in your tires you get better mileage. Also, relative humidity, temperature and elevation also play a role in gas efficiency.

The last thing I look at is MPG in a 500+ trq car. But knowing you get good mileage is cool too.
